Just wanted to say thank you! We love Charlie Brown! I’m attaching some pictures of him with the boys.
I did have a couple of questions though. Was he accustomed to being outside or inside?
I noticed he didn’t want to go out in the backyard to pee so I thought maybe you were
training him on puppy pads. Also, where did he sleep? Was he in a crate or outside?
I’m just trying to make him feel as comfortable as I can.
Thanks.
Hi,
Just wanted to send over some recent pictures of Sammy.. He has learned to give paw, sit down lay
down and roll over. for the most part he is almost house trained as well (besides a few accidents on the bed)
haha. But I just wanted to send you an update, and let you know he is an amazing dog, everybody he meets
loves him. He has the best personality and is extremely friendly with people and other dogs. Some time down
the line I would like to get another pup from you. We are looking into buying houses now so in the future when
we do move into a new home we will be in contact for another playmate for Sammy.
Thanks so much
Heather & Aaron Heyer (Massachusetts)
Tazor
Hi Carrie~
Just wanted to update you on Joey (Tazor) who is growing by leaps and bounds.
Very smart, very vocal -- the very opposite of his sister Chloe who he is keeping in
shape these days. High energy YET minds well and has learned to "sit" "stay" and
"leave it" JUST by imitating her.Took him for his first walk last week after shots
and he is already KEEPING up with the other dogs...doing great!
So proud of him.....yes, I am sooh totally in love with this guy!
Take care and God Bless you and yours,
Denise :o)
Hi there, We have "christmas puppy" rat terrier from your kennel that we adopted
2 years ago, "Candy Cane", whom we call "C.C." I've attached a silly picture of her.
She's an amazing, amazing dog who brings enormous joy to our family.
Thanks! Sasha
Hello! We adopted your little Phoenix, now named Krypto...the Superdog. Krypto is a great puppy.
He adjusted well to being crate trained. He cried the first few nights, which broke my heart...but learned
very quickly. He has done sooo well with housebreaking, and has only had a few "accidents."
(I hid a few from his daddy though, of course!)
He loves to be held and give kisses. He loves to be under blankets, strangely enough, and sleeps in the
bed at our feet, burrowed underneath. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and he's laying next to me,
longways, with his head on my pillow like he's my sleeping partner. He's so silly, and he makes me smile
first thing in the morning because he is so happy!
We have many new names for him..."Can't get close enough to you guy" was an early one. He must
be on top of you at any time. He has begun to be brave and explore more, and is comfortable being
farther away from you, but still loves closeness. We have a new name for him, "Treasure hunter" or
"Treasure Guy" He gets so excited when he finds a "treasure" that he's not supposed to chew on.
He is a really great dog,and we can't even remember what it's like not to have him around.
Thanks so much, you have such a wonderful dog family! We even talk about, "What if we had another?!"
We'll see...and we'll definetly come to you for a pup if we want to expand our family! Take care and have
a great holiday season!
Lindsay, Robert, Aiden, and Krypto
Lowell & Cary,
Baylee (Lady) is doing very well and is getting along quite well with Augie. Here are a few pictures
from Friday. Baylee and Augie love to play together. We often find Baylee sitting on top of her
kennel...better view I guess? She also now sleeps in our bed through the night and does great!
She is a real joy!! Feel free to use any of these pictures on your website if you would like.

Hi, I've been meaning to send you pictures for a while now but haven't quite gotten around to it.
Ramone's been keeping us very busy. We are absolutely in love with him. He's growing up
so fast and he makes us laugh everyday! He's a tough little guy, always keeping up with the
biggest dogs at the park. You will probably be getting a call from my boyfriend's mother for
a puppie in the near future, as well as my parents eventually. Needless to say Ramone has
made quite the impact on the entire family. We really couldn't thank you enough, he has
brightened our lives tremendously.
Thanks again Ramone sends his love! Jo
Thanks a million! She's the sweetest puppy I think I've ever met and I don't think I've loved
any animal as much as I love her already. Hard to believe it's barely twenty-four hours.
God bless and Thanks again for the joy those little ones have brought to our home.
Kelly
I hope you like the pictures.

Hi Carey & Lowell:
We just wanted to send you a few updated pictures of Frosty. We did decide to change his name to Buddie, because he is the "perfect buddie". Buddie is doing extremely well, and we love him very much. He has been fully house broken for some time now. He loves the outdoors, and riding in the convertible. He travels very well on our 4-1/2 hour trips to Vermont. We took him to the ocean yesterday for the first time. He absolutely loved
playing in the sand. The water was a little too cold for him! Thanks again for such a wonderful addition to our family! Kevin + Marie in Rhode Island
Hope everything is going well and that the hurricane headed your way
won't cause you trouble. Here are a few recent pictures of Blue.
He is quite a handfull!!! We love him so much and he is doing great
in puppy kindergarten. After he completes that course I will probably
sign him up for agility class since he loves to run and jump so much.
I have gotten him a nice batman costume for Halloween since his
father's name is batman. I'll send you a few pics of that after Halloween
if we can convince him to leave it on for a while before
chewing it up! :) He's already over 7.5lbs at 4 months, so I think he's
gonna be big and muscular like his momma!
Best Wishes,
Liz R.
Hi Cary & Lowell!
Just wanted to update you on how Brandy is doing and send a few pictures. Feel free to put any of them on your website.
As you know she turned 3 months on May 1st and she is doing really good! . The crate training kind of went out the window
the first night since my wife couldn’t stand to hear her cry so she quickly introduced her to the bed! Spoiled the first night!!!
She usually sleeps curled up around my head or wherever Cuervo is. I can tell she’s smart since she was already fetching
a tennis ball (and anything else we threw for that matter), before she turned 2 months! She loves to play with Cuervo and
they get along great! It’s neat to see how gentle Cuervo is with her and see her learn from him. Another good thing is that
Cuervo no longer whines when we leave the house even if he is penned up in the pantry and Brandy is in the crate. I gues
s knowing that she is there helps him. He really needed a buddy! She’s a talker as well. She’s been growling and barking
since we brought her home and if we don’t pay her attention at the dinner table she lets us know she is there!
Well that’s it for now. I can foresee another Rat Terrier in the future. The day we picked her up I wanted to take them all!!!
Take care!
George & Tess
Hi Lowell and Cary,
It has been a year and a half since we adopted Lacey from you and it feels like she has been a part of our family forever! It was a little bit of a challenge when it came to potty training in the beginning, but now she would never go in the house! I'm the mom and her favorite, but of course she listens to my husband more than me. I guess I can't have it all :)!! She has many nick names and she loves to cuddle, that is when she is not terrorizing our cat. My husband gets very sick of hearing me say how how cute she is....I think I say it at least 20 times a day!
I'm sorry I didn't send pictures sooner I wanted to but never got around to it. So I just wanted to say thank you to both, I don't think there is a more beautiful Rat Terrier out there, she has the best coat, the cutest face and the most adorable (yes I know it sounds strange) nose!!
Please let me know if you receive these photos and again, Thank you!!
Sincerely, Meredith & Jason West Palm Beach, Florida
Hi Cary and Lowell:
I have attached a couple of pictures of Charlie. He is such a joy. We never get tired of watching
him run around like crazy and talk to us until we understand what he wants. He will talk and stamp
his feet until we react and do what he is asking. Especially taking him for a walk or chasing around
the house or yard. Of course, sometimes he just wants us to get up so he can get our space on the
couch or bed. Don't remember life without him. He's a healthy 28 lbs and very tall and long.
His brother Roosevelt is nearly as big and their sister Pumpkin is about 12 lbs. They both live with my
brother and sister-in-law. They've all been a joy.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay but here are some pictures.

Hello, Well we got home in fine shape with baby and chief. baby is now Copper and chief is Trapper. Trapper has begun to be the big brother and gets after Copper to keep her straight. Copper on the other hand rules the house. She will growl at him and he will back away from holding her down. She lets him know that she is the boss. Both Copper and Trapper are already taking over our hearts. Thank you, Jackie & Randy Hogan
Thank you for posting Tracer.
Hi Cary & Lowell,
Minnie had her first birthday last Thursday and I thought I'd share some pictures of her big day with you.
As you can see, she had a cake that was especially baked with healthy ingredients for puppies. (It looks like
chocolate but was made with carob instead.) She sent a piece to each of her puppy friends.
She is an absolute joy to have around, we love her very much. She is sooooo smart, I think she understands
about twenty words. (Including "bad girl" which is amazing since we rarely have to use it). She also answers
to bug (for bed bug), bean (for the being) and squeek. We went to the park this afternoon and she learned
how much fun it it is to chase fat robins. Thanks again for such a wonderful puppy. (She will always be a puppy to us.)

Hi Cary&Lowell,
We wanted to tell you how we have LOVED our puppy that we adopted in December. We named him
Opie cause we stopped and ate at Opie's bar-b-que after we left your place. He is so awsome and such
a great additon to our family here in Hatch, N.M. We really would like to get another puppy, a female
and start raising puppies. We looked on the website and did not see any females except the ones that
have the same sire as Opie, which is Turkey. Could you let us know if you have any females that would
work for what we are interested in? The only problem we would have if we got a new puppy is where on
the bed will there be room?? we have another older spayed female, named Jill. Her and Opie sleep in the
middle, and they are bedbugs that is for sure.
Hope to hear from you soon, Charlotte and Bryan Sims.
Hi there, sorry I haven't sent any updates in some time. Life seems to get busy and time fly's by.
Our little Bella Mae is just wonderful! We love her sooo much. She loves her big sister, Tally,
and her little sister, Skoot our cat!(cat would not hold still enough to take photo!) She is
just a tiny bit larger in size from Pete but at least double & 1/2 in weight. She loves all her toys
and it is funny on weekends she gets worn out just like a child does. Last night she begged me
to go to bed, she didn't have her usual afternoon siesta'. Take Care~Sharon
Chloe is STILL the BEST dog we have ever had! Going to enter her into Agility training this summer!
She/Ty both run so fast...they make your head spin!
We enjoy her so much and she keeps our Missy (Border Collie - now 11) in shape. My husband who was NOT happy about
us having pups again is sooh IN LOVE and proud of her! (Take a look)
Joe/Francisca (across the street) named Tyrone but they call him Ty .
HE IS GEORGOUS!!!!! And so good with their little boy Josh. Josh is currently an only child so Ty is his BEST friend.
Here are some recent pics I thought you enjoy! I keep looking at your site and it's still awesome!
Blessings - Denise
Hello Cary, I hope you, your family and all the dogs are doing well. Kiwi and Foxy are coming along very well.
I'm going to bring them both to shows this spring and summer and see how they do. Here are a few pictures
I took today. we just got some snow and I had them outside playing. Enjoy!

Hi Cary & Lowell,
I just wanted to say Hi and Happy Holidays! We just love Seager & Rocky (Micky). You were right,
they really do adapt to any lifestyle. They just fit right in. They are so sweet and lovable! We are really
enjoying having them! I'm attaching some pictures. Merry Christmas to You and your Family! :)

Hi there, sorry it took so long to write but our little Bella has "ALL" of our attention.
She is such a joy! We know she can't take the place of Pete in our hearts but she has
done a great job creating her own spot. Her personality is so wonderful, she is funny,
lovable, smart, beautiful...Yaddy Yaddy Yaddy. Thank you again and we have referred
several friends that are wanting to expand their families. The Mosmeyer's
Magnum uses the rock as a safe zone or time out. He dashes to the top of the boulders
and the other two dogs stop. He probably likes being eyelevel with the his chasers.
Once he catches his breath he's off again. The only bad thing is he gets pretty slobbery
from the other dogs nipping at him. Yuk! Linda
Bingo
Hi guys,
Bingo is growing up and doing fine. I attached 2 pictures.
He is 10 lbs. and the vet said he is doing great!
Happy Holidays to you and your family,

He is doing so well! He is a super smart dog! We are so very pleased. He already has his ears straight up and
can sit on command ( well most of the time).
He is a Godsend. He is just want we needed. Thank you so much. We will send photos soon!

Hi Carey and Lowell,
Do you remember Tilly, she came to California almost 2 years ago.
We fell in love with her as soon as we saw her for the first time. She
is the most intelligent, good natured, healthy dog you could ever ask for.
She loves children and is very social with other dogs. She has become
our baby and it has been a joy having her.
Thank you very much.
Happy Holidays to you and you family !!!

Hello –
I just wanted to let you know that Milo has just folded right into our family.
He is awesome with my Three year old. They have really bonded already.
Here are a couple of pictures from their first day together! Milo is so good,
he sleeps all night with no whining in his kennel. Has not had one accident
in the house and is getting used to his lead. Rion and Milo will be starting
Obedience Training together in two week. I think Rion needs it more than Milo!! JJ
Thank you so much, we are really happy with our new addition to our family.
Becky Lieberman
Hi,
Just a note to tell you how much we love Lily, our new family member. She is more than we hoped she should be, totally spoiled already, never leaving our side. What an answer to our prayers for the right puppy. If you ever need a reference for your dogs, use us!!!
Thank you Walt and Metta Gerber
Hi Cary and Lowell,
Thanks so much for putting our pictures up on the site! The kids think it is so great!
Risen is now called Rocky,as well as Rocko, Rocket Boy, Rock-N-Rollin' Rocker-Roo!
He is so cute and anyone who sees him thinks so too. I have had many friends look up
the website. They love your pups too! Maybe someday these friends will take home
a pup! I have some shots of DeeDee and Rocky together. I'll try to figure out how to
send them as an e-mail. The two dogs get along so well! DeeDee doesn't really ever
bark, but Rocky sure does when he wants something! They are great family members
and I just love them so much. DeeDee does not like to go swimming much. Rocky on the
otherhand is drawn to it, we've had to scoop him out of the pool a few times. He tries to
be everywhere all of the time. These two travel well. There behave and get along with other
dogs, big and small. When the family gets together there is a Jack Russel female puppy
(too hyper for me and DeeDee) and a 8 year old Pit Bull/lab. female that weighs about
160lbs.! They play so good together. Rocky gets all kinds of attention from these girl
dogs! It is funny to see DeeDee and the mixed pit together, they have the colors, people
ask if the big one had a puppy!
Thanks for everything and God Bless,
Lisa Webb
Hi Lowell,
Thought you'd like an update on Minnie. She is settled in now and seems to be a very happy little girl.
She has tons of love to give and and isn't selfish about sharing it. We obviously love her very much in
return. We already are talking about getting her a sister or brother next year to play with. She has her
first vets appointment tomorrow and we'll make arrangements for her to be spayed then.

I attached quite a few pictures of Jake being the crazy, playful pup that he is and I just want to say THANK YOU
again. He is so much fun. He's just an energetic little thing and Angie, my chihuahua, loves him... they play all the time.
When I brought him home with me, I wasn't sure how my parents would react, but they instantly fell in love with the
little guy like I did... so much so that they were thinkin of coming to look at your puppies the next time they came to
visit me in Austin to get them one. lol :) He is so very smart and such a sweetheart, he loves everyone and everyone
loves him. He does have an attitude all his own though! lol So, thank you again and I hope
you have a great weekend!
Thanks,
Jessica
Cary - I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for rasing such a wonderful puppy. LJ (Bobo) is nothing short of a blessing, he is such a pleasure and I am thrilled with him. We still have a slip up every once in a while with him piddling on the carpet, but for the most part he's been amazing. He learns so quickly and is so loveable. He gets along with everyone; kids, adults, my mothers dog, the goats... infact the only one that doesn't like him is our female cat, but she's just testy because she's ready to give birth next sneeze.I visited the website and was dissapointed but not surprised to see that risen had been adopted. In the future if you have any pups that look like him, would you please let me know? I like that most of his body is the brown. I would certainly be interested in adopting another pup like risen.I have Included some pictures of him with Joey, myself and by himself with his fav. new toy, his squeaky boot.
Thank You again! Hope all is well with you and your family. -Kathleen
Oliver and Dakota
Hello, It's Karen from New York
Just to let you know Dakota is adapting very nicely to his new home in Staten Island, NY. We took him for his first
picture with Santa at Petsmart. The people in the store could not stop kissing him.
I haven't developed any pictures yet, but when I do I want to send you some. He is a great dog.
So loveable and smart. He started puppy training on Wed. Dec 7 and already he knows how to sit.
I am so impressed with him. Everybody that meets him loves him.
If anyone wants a Rat terrier I will definitely give them your website.
Thanks for a great dog.
Sincerely Karen Prisinzano
Maggie
Miss Maggie at the beach on St. John, Virgin Islands.
Cary - Just a note to let you know that Maggie is awesome. We go to the beach quite often,
she loves to swim.As far as training goes she knows sit, stay, come, down and how to heel on
the leash (this one she really fought me on cause everytime I put her leash on she thought
she was going to the beach). She eats puppy Science Diet dry food topped with either Mighty
Dog or our tables scraps (meat and vegetables), loves fish, carrots and fruit.St. John's annual
dog show is called Wagapalooza, I entered Maggie in the costume category as the Catch of the
Day,she was a fish attached to my fishing pole and took second place. Next year we'll enter
the trick category. Thank you again for our darling little girl.
Marcia, Captain Grizz and Miss Maggie Mae
We picked up Little Paws safe and sound from the airport tonight. Thank You so much for everything.
He is a very handsome and well behaved young man. He is getting along great with our rat-dog Midas,
and family. He doesn't care much for his new toys, but he wont put down his new nyla bones.
He isn't afraid of very much and jumped right into our bed to be with us. He fits right in already
as part of our family. He wants you to say goodbye to all his brothers and sisters for him, and he
thanks and loves the both of you.
Thanks again!!! Jeff Comstock
Pumpkin pie has been renamed Ouiser (pronounced wheeza) and is an absolute joy for my roomate and I.
She has complete run of the house and is spoiled beyond belief. She plays fetch incessantly and loves to lay
on the sofa in front of the portable heater. She only like my roomate and myself, which we eat up because
everyone loves her. She is still so tiny, a little over 2 1/2 pounds, and I think her ears make up half of that.
I attached a couple of pictures of us. Thanks so much for a wonderful puppy.

ocho
Hi Cary & Lowell,
I just ran across your email address and thought I would give an update on "Ocho" aka "Snowman"
whom we picked up Christmas Eve.
Except for a few curious vices (see attached photo), all is going very well.
He is responding very well to a basic positive reinforcement click training program.
We're looking forward to adult teeth, but otherwise he is a real pleasure.
Do let us know if you hear of any interesting programs in the area in terms of dexterity
training or also I believe there is something called "pitch & catch"
Thanks again!
I just wanted to tell you how much this little guy means to me. We kept his name Soldier. That was the perfect
name for him with my boyfriend Luke being in the Army and deployed to Afghanistan. Luke can't wait to get
home from Afghanistan and play with him. Luke also bought me a digital camera so I can take pics of him.
I think Luke has about 200 pictures of Soldier now. I didn't know just how much I needed this little guy in my
life to keep me company until he arrived. I think Luke sensed that I needed someone to keep me company and to
make me smile and laugh while he was deployed. Soldier is the most precious puppy I have ever had. He's my
shadow. Every move I make he's one step behind me. Anyway just wanted to thank you and tell you how much
joy he has brought into my life. He is a prefect fit for me and I love him so much. There isn't a day that he doesn't
make me smile or give me kisses. Soldier and Luke are my biggest blessings that's for sure!!!!!
Hello Cary and Lowell,
Well, we've had our puppy for a week now and he's made himself quite at home-we love him so much.
His new name is Rudy-he answered to it immediately. He's doing great at being house broken-will sit on
command now and is so willing to learn. What a lover he is.
Thanks so much for raising such precious pups!!!
Take care,
Patti Jurecek
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to give you an update on Romeo. Cant believe it will be a week tomorrow that we picked him up at the airport. He is doing
very well with housebreaking. He has only had a few accidents. We put him in his crate every night around 10:00 pm and he sleeps until
the alarm goes off at 5:30 am with no messes to clean up. He has already learned to come when his name is called, to sit and to stay
on command. If only my children had been so easy to train! Hes been to The Home Depot and PetSmart for some shopping and got
lots of attention. Thanks for such a wonderful puppy.
God Bless, Teresa & Gary
Hi Lowell & Cary, It was nice talking with you on the phone last night, as I mentioned we really do love our little Izzie, she is so smart
and spoiled rotten, shes always under my feet and follows me wherever I go, as I'm typing this shes on my lap, happy as can be! We
are very happy with her. Please keep me in mind for a male when the time comes, I will probably need one by the time she turns one,
and I wouldn't one to buy another rat from anyone but the two of you! But who knows maybe i'll get one sooner.
Good morning,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I wanted to send you a few photos of Zoey (previously known as Angel) with my
daughter Sara and my son Adam on Christmas Day. She is doing great and getting loads of love from the entire family.
Zoey has had her first trip to the vet where she was pronounced in excellent health and stayed an additional 1/2 hour to
play with the staff. Zoey already loves to ride in the car and play in the water and her favorite place to sleep is on your
chest snuggled against your neck....no one seems to mind. :-) I'll keep you posted on her progress.
In His strong love,
Karen
Hi. Just sending you some pictures of Scout. He's doing great. We love him so much, he goes
every where with us. Our 2 cats have adjusted fine. But Scout's new best friend is Tyson. They
play and sleep together. And they love to go for walks and run around at the park. Thanks for
everything! He's a real joy and I can't say it enough. He has already learned sit and to give paw
on command and he is all crate trained. But we're still working on the house training, he's
almost got it down. Only a couple of accidents each day. Hope all is well. Thanks again.
-Kerri P.
Indy & Chester
Dear Lowell & Cary, Just a note to let you know that Indigo (formerly Blue Boy) is doing well adjusting to life as a Garcia! We all LOVE spending time with him - our daughter playing chase with him, Fred sleeping with him in the recliner and me - trying to keep him from stealing socks of the laundry as I fold! He's a sweetie and we wouldn't trade him for the world! He goes just about everywhere - to school and back, has visited my parents and their dog, and had fun chasing our chicken this afternoon. Here are a couple of pics from his first week with us.
Thanks again!!
Cara, Fred, Micaela & Indy
Do you think Bentley could win win? He's gorgeous. I watch the shows and I know about animals, studying to be a vet you kinda have to know LOL but I think I know enough to get us started maybe. That's a good idea. I'm so glad you like the name! And it's great that you have kept in touch after selling him. He's a great pup and such a joy to our family. He's my bed buddy, he sleeps on a big pillow dog bed in the floor by my bed and every now andt hen he'll get up, lick my hand and go lay back down. It is sooooo cute. Hope this finds you all doing great! Well, talk you you guys later. Lots of love, Becca

agrippina
Here is a picture of Agrippina (Pixie) with her new big sister Guenevere. They love
eachother already and play all day. You can see in the picture Agrippina wanted
to get in on the stick chewing action . We love our new puppy so much, and
she's doing so well. She's met her vet, and has already attended her first pool party
(which included many young kids, she had such a great time chasing them and
Guenevere all around). She is really a great puppy and we feel so lucky
